Eligible Criteria for Delhi Police 4669 Constable Recruitments 2016 :
Educational Qualification:
Higher Secondary (12th) pass-out candidates from any recognized School or Institution.
Age Limit & Relaxation:
Applicants Age should be be between 18 Years to 21 Years for Post Code 1 and 18 Years to 25 Years for post code 2 as on 01.07.2016. The upper Age Limit will be relaxed by 05 Years for SC/ST as per extant rules of Government.
Physical Qualification:
Height :
- For men of General/SC and OBC: The minimum height should be 170cms. It can be relaxed 5cms for the residents of hill areas.
- For women of General/SC and OBC: The minimum height should be 152cms.
- For men who are ST candidates: the minimum height should be 160cms.
- For women who are ST candidates: the minimum height should be 152 cms.
Chest :
- The chest option for Men who are General and OBC: Without expanding 81 cm and with expanding 85 cm
- The chest option for Men who are SC and tribe: without expanding 79 cm and with expanding 83cms.
- The chest option is not applicable to women.
Weight :
- Weight should be in correspondence to Height and Age of for both men and women.
- For Men there is no weight criteria. But, females should weigh more than 47.5 kilograms.
Selection Process:
Selection of the candidates will be based on performance in the Physical Efficiancy & Measurment Test (PE&MT) and Common Computer Based Examination conducted by the competent Authority.
Salary Scale :
Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,000/- Apart from this the candidates will entitle to get DA, HRA & Other allowances applicable as per Government rules.
