West Bengal Govt. has published a notification for the recruitment of 164 Panchayat Accountants and Audit Officer (PAAO).The candidates will be selected by the West Bengal Public Service Commission, Panchayat Accountants and Audit officer (Special) Recruitment Examination, 2016. The advt. no : 23/2016.
Total vacancy: 164 posts.
Among those 36 posts for SC, 10 posts for ST, 17 posts for OBC and 5 for physically handicapped are reserved.

Eligible Criteria for Panchayat Accountants and Audit officer recruitment 2016:
Educational Qualification: Graduate from commerce stream. The candidate should read ,write and speak in Bengali (whose mother tongue is Nepali is not applicable). The candidate who have a certificate of Diploma in computer application from the Central Govt. or WB govt. or All India Council for Technological Education get preference for the appointment.Age Limit :18 -32 years as on 01/012016. ST, ST get 5 years relaxation, OBC get 3 year relaxation and Handicapped persons can apply before 45 years .
Pay scale : 7,100 - 37,600/- per month with GP : 3,600/-.
Selection Process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination and personality tests .The written exam will be held only in Kolkata, (2017 in the month of February).

Before register the candidate should save in the computer scanned passport size photo and sign. At the time of registration the photo and the sign have to upload. After the registration generated USER ID and PASSWORD need to note down for next time Log In . After that one should log in to their account and apply .
