Eligible Criteria for WBCSSC Non Teaching Staff Recruitment 2016 :
Any citizen of India can apply (as per eligible qualification) only for post of Non-Teaching Staff
(Clerk and Group-D) in schools. The candidate for the Post of Clerk and
Group D staff shall not be permitted to apply in more than one District
in a Regional Level Selection Test. However one can apply for both the
Posts Clerk & any one of Group-D Post in eligible.
For Clerk Post: Passed School Final/Madhyamik or its equivalent or Old H.S. in lieu of School Final/Madhyamik or its equivalent.
For Group-D Post : Passed Class VIII from any School recognize or affiliated by Board/Council or equivalent.
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 20 years to 37 years (age as on 01/01/2016). Age Relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 8 years for Persons with Disability.
Selection Process of Gr. D Staff: The Group D Staff, Helper, Night Guard and Cook shall be made on the basis of the results of the Written Exam to be conducted by the Central Commission and personality Test.
Selection to the Post of Group-D Staff, Helper, Night Guard and Cook in School shall be made on the Basis of Written Exam and Personality Test to be determined by the Commission.
Application Fees: Candidates are required to pay Rs.140/- (General and OBC) and Rs.70/- (SC/ST/PH) for Clerk post and Rs.120/- (General and OBC) and Rs.60/- (SC/ST/PH) for Group-D Staff Posts.
